Reflecting on our accomplishments, we’ve achieved significant milestones over the past decade. From pioneering projects to transformative collaborations, our journey has been marked by notable successes. These achievements are a testament to the unwavering dedication, collaborative spirit, and innovation that define our team.
Officially, I only joined beginning of October last year, however it feels like I have been part of the group for much longer. I still remember Marcus taking the decision to set up on his own and it all started literally from our bedroom 10 years ago. I have witnessed many ups and downs over the years and the impact it has had on our family, however Marcus’ unwavering ambition and drive which he demonstrates daily to build something that not only allows everyone in the company to grow individually but that also brings with it a level of pride and sense of achievement is what motivates me every day. And as we all know, it is never a one man show. It takes a team effort to achieve great success. I am super excited to now be a part of the team and as we push the company to new heights, our combined ambition and complementary skill sets are what is going to ensure our overall success. I would also like to thank everyone for making me feel welcome and part of the team. Onwards and upwards together!

I joined in December 2014 as a Trade Operations Manager in Trade Credit Solutions, later transitioning to Trade Execution Manager in Agri Commodities Trading. Professionally, I have actively pursued continuous learning opportunities, and on a personal level, being able to support my family means everything to me. The offsite in January 2023 allowed me to witness everyone’s career progression and delve into our company’s values and culture. Thanks to Axendo, I’ve fulfilled my dream of living in the EU, experiencing life in three different countries. Looking ahead, I see Axendo expanding product lines, increasing sales volume, and supporting long-term sustainability projects.
I began my journey with the group in February 2015 as an Accountant. In 2017, I was privileged to be promoted to the role of Group Accounts Manager. Working for the Group has been instrumental in both my personal and professional development. From refining my job skills to understanding the social culture, I’ve gained invaluable insights and experiences.
One of the highlights of working at this company is the supportive and enjoyable working environment, where the management team ensures a stress-free work environment. Looking ahead, I envision Axendo becoming a billion-dollar company within the next 5 years. With the foundation we’ve built and the dedicated team we have, I am confident that this goal is within our reach.
I joined theGroup in September 2015 in the role of Administrative Assistant. I had the pleasure of celebrating my 5th year anniversary with the team last year. Time flies!
Over the years, I’ve learned to enhance my efficiency and progress professionally. The most rewarding aspect of our job is not just payday, although that’s always a nice bonus! Jokes aside, working in a collaborative team environment and interacting with colleagues on a daily basis is truly fulfilling.
As for Axendo’s future, I see it as a continuously growing company in the next 5 years.
Joining Axendo in January 2016 as the first employee for the Africa region under the role of Managing Director Africa was a pivotal moment in my career, coming from the banking sector after 14 years. While I still oversee the Africa market, my focus has shifted to working on government projects for EPC + Financing and turnkey solutions. A highlight of my journey with Axendo was the memorable offsite we had last year, bringing the entire team together. I learned in my role both at a personal and professional levels, allowing me to achieve my job objectives, significantly growing the business in Africa and cultivating a strong network. The diversity of cultures, the opportunity to travel to different geographies and the flexibility of a medium-sized company have all contributed to my growth and development.
I joined Axendo in October 2017 with the mission of establishing the agricultural commodity desk. Thanks to our diverse business model, every day at Axendo brings new opportunities for learning and growth, empowering the team to continuously develop ourselves. Working here is a true pleasure due to the supportive environment, team spirit, and unity among colleagues, where everyone feels appreciated and valued.
Reflecting on our journey, I see all ‘ups and downs’ as invaluable lessons and unforgettable memories that shape our growth. Looking ahead, I envision a stronger Axendo than ever before. We are all dedicated to making this vision a reality, and when we achieve it, we will celebrate together.
I joined the Group in August 2016 as Operations Manager, now serving as Head of Operations. Last year’s offsite marked a memorable milestone, showcasing successful reorganisation, teamwork, and dedication. Recognised by management with an award, I value the growth amidst changes and challenges, enhancing problem-solving and decision-making skills. Adapting to diverse teams and environments fosters flexibility and emotional intelligence. Contributing to initiatives aligning with our vision, “Ignite the Potential for All through Trade,” fuels my passion. Considering all the initiatives in progress, in the next 5 years I see Axendo expanding into new regions and customer segments, coupled with innovative offerings and strategic partnerships.
