Axendo attends the 6th Ghana International Trade and Finance Conference (GITFiC)

Axendo believes in the future of Africa. In Ghana, we were proud to spend two days attending the 6th Ghana International Trade and Finance Conference (GITFiC).

The conference brought together an impressive assembly of policy makers, banks, businesses, and government stakeholders. Axendo met with representatives from the African Union (AU), European Union (EU), West Africa Monetary Institute (WAMI), ECOWAS Banks for Investment and Development, African Development Bank (AfDB), FIPME (CDI), to name a few. In addition, there were government trade departments, and representatives of commerce from Namibia, Kenya, Cote d’ Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Togo, Angola, and Ghana.

This was a great opportunity to hear industry leaders speak on some of the key topics impacting our markets including: – The role of mobile money transactions as a catalyst for inter-Africa industrial growth. – Trade Finance and its role in Africa’s accelerated industrial growth. – The progress made in the acceptance and implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement by member countries in relation to trade in goods, trade in services and dispute resolution protocols.

Axendo was in attendance represented by our Business Development Manager- Ghana, Frank Sekyi-Yorke (MBA).

Thank you to the organisers Ghana International Trade and Finance Conference (GITFiC) for arranging this inspiring event.
