Axendo was honoured to meet with Cheikh Kanté, Minister of Plan Senegal Emergent, special Advisor to the President, Senegal at the inaugural UK-Francophone West and Central Africa Trade and Investment Forum held in London with UK Export Finance.

Convened by the Department for International Trade (DIT), the forum was a major intergovernmental and private sector summit with senior delegations from eight countries Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Benin, Niger, Guinea, Gabon and Togo.

Driving forward development plans within the region’s trade and infrastructure projects, the event demonstrated growing ties between UK and Francophone Africa. Government representatives from the region discussed opportunities to develop key projects with trade and its role in Africa’s accelerated industrial growth.
