Axendo attends AFRICA CEO FORUM 2023 Annual Summit

Axendo held meetings with several government officials and ministers including Pierre N’gou DIMBA, Minister of Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Health Coverage of Côte d’Ivoire, where we discussed a number of public healthcare projects. 

Marieme Niang Camara, Axendo Managing Director for Africa, joined 1,800 business leaders, investors and policy makers from the continent and around the world at the 2023 annual summit of the THE AFRICA CEO FORUM – the largest international platform for the African private sector.

The AFRICA CEO FORUM was founded by Jeune Afrique Media Group and is one of the most significant private sector events shaping Africa’s economic agenda. It is now permanently co-hosted by the IFC – International Finance Corporation, World Bank Group.

At Axendo we focus on increasing opportunities for public and private partnerships in Africa, and look forward to supporting the public sector to reach its full potential.

Pierre Dimba outlined the Côte d’Ivoire government’s goals to become a leading medical destination in West Africa by 2025 and provide advanced services in specific fields. The objective is to improve the efficiency and performance of the entire medical system and promote the digital transformation through initiatives such as the Universal Health Coverage project.
