Bringing solutions to the cashew industry in Côte d’Ivoire

Axendo is bringing solutions to the cashew industry in Côte d’Ivoire.
During a visit to Abidjan last week, Marieme Niang Camara, Axendo Africa Managing Director, met with Dr Adama Coulibaly, CEO of the “Conseil du Coton et de l’Anacarde”, the national regulatory body for the development of the sector of cashew and cotton.

Côte d’Ivoire has become the world’s top cashew grower in recent years, with an annual production of around 1 million tones. To help achieve President Alassane Ouattara’s “vision Côte d’Ivoire 2030”, Côte d’Ivoire is transforming its economy with a view to moving from production to processing of agricultural raw materials. At the end of 2022, the projected processing capacity of cashews reached approximately 413,000 tones per year.

Through Axendo’s diversified trading activities, stakeholders in both the public and private sector can be provided with prepayments for the delivery of cashews to the group together with a turnkey solution for the procurement of manufacturing equipment required for cashew processing plants.

Axendo believes in the future of Africa and is committed to supporting its ongoing development of the trade ecosystem and economic development across the region.
